Hi!

Welcome to Dream Acres Farms! We are glad to have you here visiting our site! Technology isn’t my forte so you’ll have to bear with any bugs and hiccups you find here. I’m learning as I go…kinda like our farming skills! We purchased our dream property in 2016, put in a driveway in 2017 and in 2019, after some land clearing, built our dream forever home right before Covid hit.

I’m Kim and I’m a wife, mom of 3, Grammie of 2, dog mom, chicken collector, goat lover and homesteader. I enjoy cooking, canning, baking, gardening and loving on my animals. I substitute teach at our local elementary school and when I’m not doing any of those activities, you can find me at the ballpark in the summer cheering on the Syracuse Mets or with my nose in a book during the winter.

My husband Jamey is a retired police officer and currently works as a school resource officer. He is also a Veteran and I am very proud of his service not only to our country but to our community. He has thrown himself headlong into learning how to homestead and he has come a long way in a short amount of time.

Our little homestead consists of eggs laying and (sometimes) meat chickens, goats, our 2 dogs and several fierce barn cats. We have a farmstand where we sell eggs, chicken, veggies and we also make goat milk soap and lotion which we sell.
