FarmShop FAQ’s

Q: what payments do you accept?

A: cash (into the red box), venmo, paypal

Q: What are your hours?

A: we are open Thurs-SUN 8am-8pm

Q: what do you sell at the farmshop?

A: fresh eggs, goat milk soaps and lotions and other bath products, plants and flowers, veggie and herb starts, an assortment of handmade gifts, sometimes we have baked goods too. Veggies in season.

Q: Why don’t you wash your eggs?

A: Our eggs are truly farm FRESH eggs- from nesting box to container to you! Because they haven’t been washed by us, they might appear a little “dirty.” The bloom, or protective coating is still in tact on the egg so these eggs do not to be refrigerated. They are safe, unwashed, on your counter for up to 3 weeks. If you choose to wash your eggs, wash them with warm water gently- no soap- and store them for up to 3 months in the fridge. Any eggs sold from our stand are less than 3 days old.

Q: What kinds of chickens do you have?

A: We have gold laced wyndottes, rhode island reds, isa browns, cinnamon queens and a few americauna’s. Our rooster is an Old English Bantam. Different breeds of chickens lay different colored eggs but they are all the same on the inside. Breed determines the shell color.

Q: what other animals do you have?

A: goats. we have several goats and we raise them as pets and for their milk. We use their milk for our soaps and lotions. We also raise meat chickens seasonally, and have 2 dogs and several cats.

A: you can always text me (Kim) 315-430-7495 and I will reply as soon as I can. Please do NOT come to the house. We have 3 livestock dogs on duty!
