Homemade Hamburger Helper
2 CUPS WIDE EGG NOODLES
2 TBSP CORNSTARCH
1 TSP SALT and 1 TSP PEPPER
1 TBSP DRIED PARSLEY
1/2 TSP ONION POWDER
1 TBSP BEEF BOUILLON
1/2 TSP GARLIC POWDER
2 1/4 CUPS MILK
1/2 CUP WATER
1 LB GROUND BEEF
In a pan, brown your ground beef. When its fully cooked, drain if necessary then add to a pot along with all other ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Once it boils, reduce to a simmer and continue to simmer for 7-10 minutes or until noodles are cooked to desired consistency. Serve. Makes 3-4 servings.
If you want to “prep” a dry mix ahead of time, all dry ingredients, including noodles, can be measured out and stored in an airtight container such as a larger mason jar. Then when you want to make the meal, you just need to add the milk, water and ground beef.
