
Apple Pie
Ingredients:
Pie crust, top and bottom
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
dash salt
6 cups apples peeled, cored and sliced
2 tablespoons butter
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. add apples and coat thoroughly. Pour into pie pan with pie crust and top with dots of butter. Cover with top crust, crimp edges and vent pie crust. cover edges of pie with aluminum foil. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Serve with ice cream or your favorite cheese!
